Sounds like quite the show! Three questions ... How many laps for Friday night's mains? - don't seem to be able to find that info. What is the $100 entry fee covering? And are these two completely separate shows?
By reading add, you'd think that this was one show spread over two days, except for the payout posting.
Thanks,
Rob

This should answer your questions. If not, let me know! The format is geared toward a single show to steer the show toward crowning the SW Champions. This unique format ties both nights of racing in together. The payout will however be paid each night as a single show but only one champ will be named in each division after all is said and done..

We are preparing a driver list and expect the SW-CHAMPIONSHIPS to rate up there as one of the largest open wheel shows that Canyon has seen in quite some time. The NMDOTY will be crowned bringing some top names in this division. Some of the competing teams coming in so far include: B.Kuhn, B.Clauson, T.Hines, Coons Jr., Boat & Loyet. I have been told that 3 Wisconsin area Badger Midget teams are looking at the tow and 4 Midwest (Indiana) teams that are planning to race. As of right now things are taking shape looking like we will top a 30-car field.

Also, we had a few Ford Focus Midget guys asking if they would be aloud to run this race and the answer is YES! The AMRA did allow them to run this season and this is an AMRA points race. This will add somw CA teams to the mix. It looks as though RJ Johnson has a nice size lead in the 2009 points and is looking to solidify his 2009 AMRA Championship at this event.

The Midgets on Canyon's banked oval are straight awesome!!!! We have clocked RJ and High at 12:96/12:97.... Last year, Lasoski brought his 410 Winged Outlaw car out to Canyon and I clocked him at 12:98 average. The Midgets flat haul and without a wing, need I say more!

Some well respected Sprint Car teams are also filling up the drivers list! More info to come, stay tuned!!!!
