I was wondering if anyone has looked at or tried the defnder yet?

Looks like a greatly improved version of the HANS with better lateral support and made so the belts can't slip off.

I have one and will be trying it out this week.

I am no fan of the HANS since it was never developed or teasted for our kind of application, but the Dfender is a step in the right direction.

It seems to allow you to tighten the belts more and has some adjustments that cater to size, seat belt position and seating angle.

Stop by the 7K sprint Car to see it in person Saturday.

So now that you have used it A few time how well do you like it I need to get a new safety device and been leaning toward the defender?

So far so good. I had to make a few adjustments but it's to the point I barely notice it and can get my belts real tight. I don't use it 100% of the time... yet. Getting there.
